Change Maryland Action Fund Releases New Ad: “We Can’t Afford Not To”
Change Maryland Action Fund released a new ad today calling on Maryland’s legislature to finally pass Governor Hogan’s proposal to eliminate every single penny of retirement taxes.
Over the last seven years, Governor Hogan has proposed similar legislation to reduce or eliminate retirement taxes, and the legislature has failed to act every year. Though Governor Hogan has been successful in delivering targeted retirement tax relief for military veterans, law enforcement, fire and rescue personnel, and corrections and emergency personnel, retirees continue to flee Maryland at an alarming rate every year due to the state’s sky-high retirement taxes.
